Pre-Launch Advertising Rates in Effect

Information for potential advertisers is now available on the Cool Cast Radio website. Special pre-launch rates are in affect through August 25th, 2005. Initial advertising plans include monthly, weekly and daily sponsor packages, as well as individual 30 second spots available at bulk rates.

The expected launch date remains at September 1st, 2005, but should the launch date need to be pushed back, the special rates deadline will be extended as well. Recently punned as 'Podvertising', this is seen as a fast-growing market. Any interested parties should contact the BX Radio Network as soon as possible to reserve their space before they fill-up.

Questions, concerns and requests can be forwarded to info@bxradio.net or to 505.835.8967 or TOLL FREE to 877.893.2662.

Delayed Press Release generates more interest

Thanks to a recently released press release by PodcastingNews.com, Cool Cast Radio has experienced a surge of new interest in our Podcast Broadcast project. The current count has not been tallied yet, but there are in excess of 50 interested parties who have either requested more information or have already entered the approval process to be broadcast on the BX Radio Network.

While the press release was originally submitted to the Podcasting News website on July 18th, the results far outweigh any complaint we might have with the delay itself and have been much greater then the response from the PRWeb.com press release.

The BX Radio Network and Cool Cast Radio websites are currently being revised/finished and will be undergoing many changes over the next couple of weeks due to the tremendous response we have received. We do appreciate your patience during this time. All signs still point to a September 1st, 2005 launch-date, with an as yet undetermined test launch some time before that.

BX Radio Network begins search for advertisers

With new podcast content beginning to come in almost daily now, the BX Radio Network has started to search for advertisers for it's Cool Cast Radio station. Trying to accommodate the 'little guy', pricing models will include special discounts for smaller companies wanting to promote their product or service on the BX Radio Network in addition to standard long term commitment price breaks.

The goal is to create an environment not unlike shortwave radio broadcasts, who depend on a larger quantity of smaller advertisers to support their show. There will of course, be opportunities for larger companies to get involved by becoming daily, weekly or monthly sponsors, but the focus will be to afford smaller companies a medium by which they can affordably, but still effectively, promote themselves to a worldwide audience.

If your company would be interested in such an opportunity, please contact the BX Radio Network at info@bxradio.net or call us directly at 505.835.8967 for more information. We look forward to working with you and your company in this exciting new arena of online entertainment.

Approval process begins for Podcasters

After a fantastic response to the press release, the BX Radio Network has begun the approval process for several podcasters wishing to be broadcast under the Cool Cast Radio brand. Legal documents and information gathering are now taking place, afterwhich submissions for broadcasting will start rolling in.

Given the variety of content expected, the next big step will be scheduling broadcasts into the appropriate time slots. We are currently on track for our September 1, 2005 launch, but will most likely have a test launch prior to officially going live. We are also contacting specific established podcasters with good quality content to get involved with this project, but still have an open invitation to all podcasters who wish to join the BX Radio Network.

Newest podcasts add diversity to BX Radio

Just barely into the day after our first press release and the interest is increasing. The newest podcasts showing interest include the Celtic Music News Podcast and 1st Pod Publishing, a podcast actually about getting involved in podcasting.

Other notables to show interest are Mitch Keeler of Lockergnome as well as the Weezy and The Swish podcast, which is gaining more and more popularity daily, and features Louise Palanker, a popular comedienne and Laura Swisher, another comedienne with appearances on the Fran Drescher show Living with Fran in her credits and others.

A truly diverse set of podcasts is developing and should allow for a widely appealing group of content on the BX Radio Network.

Press Release nets interested parties.

After our first half day with press release out, we have interest from two new Podcasts. The first being the AgWired Zimmcast, a podcast oriented towards the Agricultural business. Since the 'invention' of podcasting, there has been a bit of a misconception that it is only about 'cool stuff', but with major news networks now getting into the market, it clearly is for everyone. This is proven again by our second interested party, Deanna Spencer and her Learn Small Business podcast, which should prove interesting as well.

While both podcasts are still in the approval stage, and many more are expected follow, we are happy to see an immediate response to what we at the BX Radio Network believe will be an exciting and new way of presenting fresh podcast content to the world.

BX Internet announces the launch of the BX Radio Network

Originally Released July 18th, 2005 - BX Internet and Lockergnome's own Matt Hartley have teamed up to form the BX Radio Network. Dubbing themselves as the next big thing in Podcasting, the BX Radio Network is actively seeking Podcasters interested in bringing their show to a live Internet audience. Selected Podcasts will be pre-recorded and then submitted on a regular schedule to the BX Radio Network under the 'Cool Cast Radio' brand. Approved programming will then be streamed live via the Internet to listeners interested in discovering new Podcast-based programming.

Unlike other Internet radio brands that simply offer their listeners canned in-house radio talk shows, the BX Radio Network believes that there is more than enough amazing Podcast content on the Web for listeners seeking a more engaging, independent talk radio environment. Working with Podcasters from all over the world, the BX Radio Network will empower audio content creators with the ability to offer their work to a brand new audience.

Advantages for all participating Podcasters will include; the opportunity for joint promotion, networking with other content providers, and getting their own show exposed to an audience that they would normally never be able to reach thanks in part to a typical show's promotional challenges.

Interested Podcasters need to contact the BX Radio Network as soon as possible. Submission schedules and other details will be discussed upon the Podcaster's acceptance into the Cool Cast Radio lineup.
